Erick Prospero

Erick Prospero is the founder and CEO of Ninja Tropic eLearning, a custom learning development company that builds media-rich education for associations, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and technology companies.

His teams' work has been recognized repeatedly by the learning industry's evaluating bodies. In 2025 alone, Ninja Tropic earned four Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards, including Gold for Best Association Learning Program and Gold for Best Off-the-Shelf eLearning Course. eLearning Industry has named the company a Top 10 agency in three separate categories, including custom eLearning development and leveraging AI for educational content.

Erick's current work centers on a problem most of the industry is still avoiding. AI has made learning content dramatically faster to produce, and dramatically easier to get quietly wrong. In clinical education, compliance training, and technical certification, content that is ninety-five percent accurate is not a partial success. It is a liability. Erick builds production systems that pair AI acceleration with subject matter expert governance and review against external standards, so that speed does not come at the cost of trust. His work spans microlearning, video and animation, interactive 360 degree environments, AI voice simulation, and large-scale course modernization.

Alongside the production work, Erick hosts The Microlearning Lab, a podcast and video series featuring conversations with learning leaders, association executives, LMS analysts, and instructional designers. He writes regularly for eLearning Industry on association learning strategy, non-dues revenue, and competency-based microlearning, and is currently writing a book on AI-powered educational content production and the business strategy behind profitable learning products.

He has been speaking professionally for twelve years, at conferences, summits, webinars, and workshops. In 2018 he placed second in the Arizona Humorous Speech Championship out of a field of more than one hundred fifty. He believes learning sessions should be worth staying awake for.
